How To Place an Order

  1. Please fill out the 2026 Seed Order Form AND include a 25% check deposit on your order total amount (seed costs). Minimum order amount is $500. Payment can also be processed over the phone by calling (207) 522-1929.

  2. Checks can be made payable to Merrymeeting Shellfish Company

  3. Completed order form and check can be mailed to: Merrymeeting Shellfish Company, 2 Town Landing Road, Bath, ME 04530 

  4. The remainder of payment, including any line maintenance fees, is due upon receipt of seed. 

  5. In the event an order is unable to be filled, a full refund of the deposit will be returned.

Please note: 

  1. Order submission does not guarantee order fulfillment. To ensure the highest probability of your order being filled, please place orders as early as possible. Later orders will likely be placed on a Wait List.

  2. All oyster and clam seed are deemed viable upon receipt. While we take every measure to ensure the health and quality of our seed, survival and growth are dependent on environmental conditions and grower practices beyond our control. We do not guarantee performance, yield, or survival rates. Buyers assume full responsibility for the care, handling, and use of the seed upon delivery. Pathology testing is conducted on each lot by an accredited lab and is available upon request.
